DESCRIPTION:
Effective leaders think and act strategically. They analyze opportunities
and problems from a broad perspective and anticipate and plan for
reactions from others. They focus energies on those activities that
will have significant impact on the organization and on the positive
development of others. Strategic thinking linked with emotional intelligence
stresses the ability to visualize what could be, as well as a day-to-day
strategic approach to issues and challenges, to helping others, to
maximizing teamwork and to relationship building.
