PERSONALITY TYPE, COMMUNICATIONS AND TEAMWORK

DESCRIPTION:
The more individuals understand themselves and others, the more effectively they are able to communicate and engage in more productive teamwork. This intensive professional development seminar emphasizes the understanding and application of personality differences and styles in interpersonal communications.

OBJECTIVES:
As a result of attending this intensive professional development seminar, participants will be able to:
• Apply learnings from the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and other personality instruments to interpersonal skill building
• Link the MBTI to the Interpersonal Influence Inventory for
understanding self and others
• Practice communication skills designed to build on understanding and valuing style differences
• Use personality type awareness to build more effective teams

LENGTH of Seminar: 1 day, 2-3 days with team building
Number of Participants Per Session: 20-25 and/or intact work teams
